Mac and Memory
1GB of RAM is a good starting place for version 8. The more RAM, the faster FlowJo will work. FlowJo does its own memory management; generally, you should have at least 2.5x as much memory as the largest file that you want to read. If you do lots of gates, then you should increase this. OS X responds very favorably to additional memory.
